Chips and salsa galore at the Colarelli office today for Cinco de Mayo
To celebrate Cinco de Mayo (and have an excuse to eat really good food) we had a Mexican potluck at our office today. The team brought tacos, chili, guacamole, queso, salsa, cupcakes and chips galore! The food was great, and it was nice for the team to take some time away from work to chat and enjoy a meal together. Special thanks to our administrative assistant Cindy Berrio for throwing this all together!
Side Note: Did you know that Cinco de Mayo is commonly mistaken for Mexico’s Independence Day? The holiday is observed to celebrate the Battle of Puebla in which Mexico defeated France on May 5, 1862. The battle resulted in an unlikely victory and caused for celebrations that remain on May 5 today.
